Miniature spy cameras are getting smaller and smaller. Now smaller versions called mini spy cameras have been developed just like a credit card, and even smaller. Their size makes it easy for them to be carried around without others noticing it. State-of-the-art mini and micro spy cams can also offer good quality images, without being very expensive.

If you have to embark on some critical surveillance to be done without being seen, then mini spy cams are very practical. Find the camera that fits your requirements and budget. Power and life of the battery, range, and transmitting power for wireless cams, are things you must consider.

Less visible mini cams will make your surveillance and investigation steps more discreet. There are models of button cameras with their matching buttons, or screw-head cams which can also give quality output. Some models can run for even nine hours or more using a 9-volt battery. You can find your mini spy cams for specific conditions, as there are also waterproof models and models with night vision in the market.

Mini spy cameras are very helpful for surveillance in children’s rooms, at workplaces, and in remote areas. Watching over pets which have to be left for short periods of time can be done by mini cams. And they have been useful in research and studies of nature too.

The weight and size are two important considerations when choosing your model. In addition, you will also need to think about range, resolution, and low-light performance for when you will need your cam. Good you can choose the model with night vision or waterproof versions. Colored, or simple black and white images, are also options to consider.

These mini spy cameras are changing the methods of gathering information for discreet investigations. What these mini spy cams prove is, sometimes, isn’t smaller the better!

For those unfamiliar with the term, a dummy security camera is an imitation of a functioning security camera which can not record images. A dummy security camera has pros and cons and you should make sure you understand them clearly before you buy one for business or personal use.

In reality, a dummy security camera can provide the illusion of having a recording device, at a fraction of the cost, as most people are not able to tell the difference between a fake camera and the real thing. You can pick up a dummy security camara, for around $30.00, compared to the real thing which can run into the hundreds of dollars. Not the money you save can be used to purchase additional dummy security cameras, give the appearance of additional security.

It is most useful to use dummy security cameras interspersed with a few legitimate cameras in case criminals are able to spot the fakes. They are then more likely to drop their guard and behave as if they are not being taped, making it much more likely they will do something criminal in camera range and be caught in the act.

Among the myriad disadvantages of dummy security cameras is the ease of spotting them. An experienced criminal can easily spot an inexpensive dummy security camera.

In addition, dummy cameras offer no real protection and only mislead owners into a false sense of security, seeing as how you have no actual proof of who the criminal was in the case of an actual break-in. An effective security system should include some kind of live monitoring, which can not be provided unless something is captured by the camera.

However, keep in mind that once a security camera is discovered to be a dummy, it is no longer a deterrent to criminal activity, and can actually be an incitement to criminals. It is thought that once criminals believe they have found a vulnerability in you security, they will be more willing to take risks on quality of the rest of your security.

In Home Alarm Systems are a means of visual protection. The most popular trend of protection are the home security systems that seem to be offered by everyone involved in home security. You can physically set an alarm when you are at home or away and feel like your home is completely safe from predators. There are many companies that offer alarm services, but you will find that you are happier if you take the time to compare home security services before you make your choice.

The major companies that offer a Home Security Alarm System all provide different incentives to help persuade you to join their team. GE has a comprehensive website with affordable prices, ADT will connect you with a live representative when your alarm is set off, and First Alert home security will provide you with literature updating you on tips for keeping your home secure. When you look at the competition on an individual basis you will be able to find the right fit for your family’s needs.

Protect America is a company that is partnered with GE and provides services in home security. Protect America partners with local, independent alarm companies in order to provide customers with the most effective and affordable in home security for a particular area. They also have a service that will offer brochures on topics such as fire safety, travel safety, and crime prevention. This service is available through the company’s partnership with the National Crime Prevention Council and the International Association of Fire Chiefs; the brochures are also available through their website. First Alert is only available in select areas, so make sure that you are in their regional scope before you place an order.

GE, also known as General Electric, has been placing their products in homes for decades. Many people feel that a brand that they know is a comfortable choice without further investigation. GE does have many home security systems, but it is unclear whether or not they have dealers that will install the systems for you. Their website is well laid out and they have a FAQ sheet, but this detail is not mentioned anywhere. The assumption is that they will mail you all of the parts for a home security system, and then it is the customer’s responsibility to install that system. If you are not confident in your handyman abilities, GE may not be the best option for you. However, if you have a jack-of-all-trades that is reasonable in price, and at your disposal, you might want to explore their services further.

ADT home security services do give you a discount on your homeowner’s insurance (by 20%) if you sign up with them. They also have customized plans that will allow you to decide what you want when you want it. ADT is also famed for their live person feature that lets a representative talk you through a potentially dangerous situation. The drawback to ADT is that they require a landline, and that is not necessarily an option for all households. They also require a minimum time using service before they will waive an activation fee for another residence.

When you Compare Burglar Alarm Systems you will find that they all have unique features to offer. There are many services that are local, which could be a better fit in terms of service and pricing. You may feel more comfortable choosing a company with a better-known reputation. Regardless of how you come to your decision in choosing a home security system, you should assess your personal desires before deciding on a company and committing for any period of time.

The main goal of a security systems is to protect your home from burglars and other dangers . The technology has come leaps and bounds , alarm systems are much better at detecting danger than they used to be . that is why it is recommended for you to install a computerized home security alarm.

What things should you consider when you go out and buy your first burglar alarm ? There are 4 factors that you need to know ; Price, Model, and the Space you need to enclose in an alarm and the amount of security you wish to have .

Cost : This is the first thing to consider ; you will need to set a budget for your new alarm system . Computerized systems are a bit more mostly .

They can start in the hundreds all the way into the thousands depending on the model and also the amount of space you want to be covered up. If you are trying to get a lot of security but have a limited budget you will have to consider implementing the system over a smaller area of the building .

Model. The model you choose may also be based off the budget you are working with , spending less means getting a lower end brand . However there maybe some surplus shops in your area that can set you up with a good deal on high end brands .

Level of Security. You also have to decide whether you like to have a full alarm system just a portion of your house.

Prior to getting your alarm also check with several security agencies they should be able to find the best security company to go with . Make sure you ask them as many questions you can to gain a full understanding . Don’t worry if your agency or company gets annoyed with you, it is your right to ask questions so don’t hesitate. Always keep in mind that you are the one who will be paying so make the most of it.

A security alarm is a good way to detect possible danger, they work great if you have a large amount of valuables you want to keep safe .By using the idea I mentioned here you should be able to find the perfect security system for you .

Thieves seem to discover each day new ways of violating our homes. People all over the country have to worry about having their homes burglarized when they are away . Most of the time the criminals go unprosecuted and the police are defenseless much of the time . Most home criminals look at this as an easy way to pull in money . You will almost never find them using the elaborate Hollywood scenarios . So the burglars look for homes with easy access. Therefore, the best thing you can do to minimize the risk of a break in, is to make it difficult to enter. You need to make sure the entrances are strong , secure the windows, employ good lighting and use reliable a alarm Systems

Fortify Your Entrance Points

Your first option could be using a metal door, they may not look the best but most crooks can’t get through them . Most criminals do not have the elaborate kills that we see on the big screen . If a house is too difficult to burglarize, they will simply avoid it. Statistic, housebreakers prefer to enter via the garage door. For this reason do not use metal doors solely to fortify your main entrance, but to secure all the other points of entry as well. Keep in mind doors that use thin wooden frames are very easy to break . Go get yourself a strong door and make sure to use quality locks that resist lock-picking attempts for all your doors.

Secure All Accessible Windows

The idea that most criminals are deterred by day light is just a myth . Statistic, most of the break-in incidents happen during the daytime, when people are away at work. An open window is an invitation. Do lock your windows when you are away from home. That is why you should use a window jam to hold it in place. Usually housebreakers prefer ground floor windows and windows that are accessible from a balcony, fence or a stair. When you secure the windows make sure burglars cannot reach and remove the blocking device Use Lighting to Show Signs of Activity at Night

When away from home in a business trip or in vacation, Make sure there are going to be at least a few lights that get left on . To avoid sending such an invitation to the thieves, use light timers. This cool little device can be used to have some lights turn on and off at certain times .

Another important aspect of your home security is outdoor lighting . Most thief’s don’t want to be seen , good exterior lighting will discourage them to come near your home. For this purpose use security lights with infrared motion detectors.

The trust old burglar alarm works well

Burglars do not want to be caught, that’s why most of them will bypass a home with visible alarm signs. Having an alarm is only effective if it is used . Take care of your alarm code and don’t write it in visible places. Make it hard for the burglars to gain access to your house .

Decide with right choices for your general security systems services is crucial. With wide range of system and various brands that are ready today, we as a home owner should learn more in order to make the right choice according to our needs and requirements. In certain cases, home security alarms do not usually shield women and children from what they fear most. For example, domestic violence cannot be controlled with a home security alarm. They are likely to be injured by what has been locked in the house with them.

Thus, engaging a home security system can be a time, energy and money wasting. Strange to say, many people do not react to alarm sirens anymore. They get bothered at the sound and rather investigate the reason. This may be due to false alarms that happen all the times. I admit that usually I do not investigating an alarm. In reality, it’s not my duty to figure out the cause of a siren. Home security is usually implemented so poorly that false alarms occur most of the time. Some home owner feels that they can set up their own home security system. However, they usually do the most awful job and have caused the most false alarms.

Further to the above, I do not trust that most home owner use their home security alarm as it should be. In order to secure a home, it is advised that you spend considerably more than what is typical. Because of competitions, a lot of home security companies offer discount packages. The home security systems always come with window alarms. It is important to keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Always think from your actual needs and decide rationally.

Another down to earth idea for home security is always lock the door. Sounds easy. You may be shocked that there are a lot of people do not lock their doors. I must tell the truth that rarely I lock my door whether or not I’m home. Well, it’s time to adjust that kind of mindset as our society is different compare to our last generations.

Here are some of the home security devices features. They include timers that time events like lights going on and off while the homeowner is not home. This feature alone is effective when used in conjunction with a friend or neighbor retrieving your newspapers and mail. It doesn’t matter if your lights make it look like you are home, however when there is a pile of newspapers on your door front, that as common sense, hinting you are not at home. There are a lot of companies where they do offer home security cameras tips and advice. Search them today and learn more.

Using surveillance cameras for security around the home allows the homeowner to monitor what’s going on outside the home while remaining safely indoors. There are many different way wireless security cameras can be useful . Lot’s of people use them as an extra feature of their home security system . The technology involved has taken major strides forward and the prices are within an affordable range. Having a DVR recording the activity around your property is an extremely comforting feeling being home and away.

The security camera can be the corner stone of your home security .

Manufactures have responded to consumer demand with a variety of options . The homeowner has two options for video camera connectivity, either wired or wireless. If the location for your camera is to remote then a wireless security camera is the perfect solution. Security cameras are great to use indoor as well as outdoors.

If you don’t have the money to spend on an expensive camera system than dummy security cameras are a great solution . Fake cameras are normally a real camera casing without the expensive electronics . Some of the better fake security cameras feature a rotating base and blinking lights. They so real that criminals cannot tell the difference and they are often enough to make them move on . They are a great low budget solution to keeping your home or office safe from burglars . The average person cannot afford an elaborate security system so a fake security camera is an ideal choice .

Most criminals usually canvas an area before they strike. If they see a security camera outside the perimeter of your store or home, it will help in deterring them from committing a criminal act. Cameras are usually the first they look for .

The Internet revolution has had great progress in video surveillance. IP cameras are stand-alone devices that connect to your Ethernet or wireless network. They can connect to your internet router with a cable or wirelessly . If cameras give you the ability to watch multiple cameras at multiple places from one location . Recordings are highly compressed for easier storage. Video security can be both a defense and a deterrent. If you are considering installing a video surveillance system for your company or your home, understanding how different video surveillance systems work is critical in your decision making process.

I recommend going with an IP setup, they are extremely future proof and soon it is all you will see . They will cost you more money but will be worth it when you get the take advantage of all the features . As the surveillance technology of the future grows. IP camera-based video surveillance system is something that will continue to expand. Innovations always comes from improved technology . Therefore, you will be able to upgrade and improve IP camera based video surveillance systems for years to come while older systems will become obsolete.

The first step is realizing that you want a Wireless Home Security System. The next step is deciding whether you want to spend the money to install one. If you are feeling like you have a handle on some construction, and you want to give installation a try, make your home secure with a wireless alarm yourself. You may find that installing a wireless system is not that hard, and your confidence in yourself and your handyman skills may make you a better person. But take on that challenging and new weekend project armed with a few basic tips.

Wireless home security electronics have few parts, but that does not mean that you should ignore the packaged directions. Most of the wireless home security systems can be installed with the everyday tools that you find in your garage, but no one wants to make a mistake. You must first decide where you want the control panel to go. The only constraints for a control panel are that it must be near an electrical outlet. However, where you place your control panel can make a difference because you don’t want a control panel easily reached by a predator who could smash it the instant he or she breaks in, and you don’t want any sound of the alarm to be muffled by the alarm being concealed.

If you install your own wireless security system, you can find Cheap Burglar Alarm Systems here - do not pay those outrageous prices the national name brands sell!

Next, you will want to install the control panel. Even though your home security alarm system is labeled wireless, there will be a wire of some sort, so don’t be fooled by names. You will need to drill a hole behind the control panel, and then another one below the outlet so that you can connect the two. If you are concerned about your abilities when it comes to wiring, don’t worry, the wireless security systems usually come with a battery that will act as a backup in case the power goes out or the device is unplugged.

Get a Compare Alarm Monitoring Companies here.
The siren and control panel programming will be the next step on your list. You will need an electrical outlet for the siren just like the control panel. Typically, in order to program your sirens, you will be able to use a common screwdriver. However, all systems are not created equal, so you will need to check with the manufacturers instruction packet when dealing with this step. The control panel programming will be easier if you locate the spreadsheet with step-by-step instructions in working with your keypad. Remember not to throw away any of the paper materials that come into the package with your system. There should be a manifest on the first page of the instruction booklet. If you feel like you are missing something, call the manufacturer’s help line and they will send you another one in the mail.

After you have finished all of the programming needed, you will need to install the sensors. Sensors are usually placed on windows and doorways. It is not a problem if these are visible because it may let an intruder know that you have an alarm and prevent any windows being broken. The sensors are usually plastic and can be installed with an electric screwdriver.

Being able to achieve any task that, at the start, seems challenging is a rewarding experience. When you install your wireless home security system, you may feel relieved and proud, but don’t forget that you want the product to work. The last step in any installation is to test your alarm to make sure that it is in working order. There are many different resources that can let you know what home security prices and rating for different products are, and then you can decide which system would be the most compatible with you. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions before you buy a wireless home security system because you don’t want to get stuck with an impossible system that will end up costing you more money than you want to spend.

Unless you’ve left someone like Macaulay Calkin in your home, you wouldn’t want your house standing alone on Christmas Eve or on any other occassion. Burglars attack whether you are on a vacation or sleeping peacefully at night. These opportunists not only steal your valuables and hard-earned cash, they also destroy the sanctity of your home and your peace of mind. So, be prepared and secure your home.

The following are some tips that will provide you information on how to protect your greatest investment from becoming a burglar’s next prey.

Assess your Home

Think like a burglar. Look for vulnerable areas of your house that can be a possible entry point of thieves like glass doors, low windows, terraces, etc. Check the locks of the external doors and windows. Inspect the house at night and look for possible areas where burglars can hide before breaking an entry to your home.

Plan What You Need to Do

After assessing your security system for its needs, you probably have a better and clearer picture of what you need to do to protect your home. You may want to put more locks on your windows and doors or add lighting to your backyard. But whatever that is, the bottom line is you now have an idea on what home security measures and gadgets you need to include and install in your home.

Included in a basic security systems are exterior door and window sensors and an alarm control panel with touchpad. This might be enough to appease you from thoughts of possible break-ins. Once the window or door has been broken or opened, the alarm will sound to alert you and, depending on the loudness of the alarm, possibly your neighbor too. More sophisticated home security systems may include automatic flashing exterior lights upon triggering the alarm.

Depending on your needs, other security gadgets can be added to your security system. One is a “glass break” sensor, a gadget that responds when a picture window is broken. Another is a motion detector with activated flashing lights. The light will flash and the alarm will sound when movement is detected in selected areas. Finally, there is video surveillance. This can be installed inside and outside the home. With the help of the internet and other networking devices, it is now possible to check the video images generated by the cameras at your home from your laptops or PDA.

Implement Your System

After you have installed your security system, be sure that you know how to operate the devices. Teach your family members too about the correct activation and deactivation of the alarms. Always keep the devices clean and working. This will ensure that your system is always working and you are always protected.

Alarms for homes, pools, outbuildings, and other structures can be a great way to protect what is yours. These are very important, and many will have them for the peace of mind, even when they might live in a very safe place. Most people worry about two things when they get a new home alarm system, and both are easy enough to deal with. Some worry they will always be setting off their own alarms, and some worry what alarm installation will do to their home.

Alarms have come a long way. If you worry that an home alarm system installation will wreck your walls, you have probably not seen the latest in home alarm systems. These are often wireless, and though they have to be hooked up to power and a phone line, there is very little damage to your home. For the most part, damage from alarm installation is non existent. Unless you have a bumbling fool in your home doing the installation, you can rest easy that everything will be as you left it.

If you are still concerned about the effective alarm systems installation, all you have to do is ask. The company you have chosen will be able to tell you what to expect with their system, and what they need to do to have a smooth alarm installation. You will see new boxes around your home near your doors, if you are getting a home alarm, and possibly new lights outside or small tabs on your windows, but that will depend on what you have chosen. Otherwise, you should not see any damage or anything overly unsightly.

If the word of the company coming to do an alarm installation still has you worried, there is no harm in being there when they come. That way, if there is a problem with something, they can talk to you about it without delaying the installation or doing something to your home that you might not be happy with. Being there during alarm installation might also be helpful in your understanding of what the alarm does and how it works. This might mean less problems for you in the future. Also, you can decide then and there if you have gotten enough features on your system, or if you feel something is lacking. That way, you can make additions right away -in many cases- without having to wait for them to come back at a later
date.

You want to find a company that has a good reputation and that is known for its reliability. Although when you go to pick which company you want, it can be more difficult than you may expect. How can you determine which company is not going to let you and your family down? By becoming more knowledgeable about the differences in what the different security alarm systems offer, you will discover you are able to make a more informed decision. ADT home security provides their customers with opportunities as well as good protection from potential predators. However, learning about ADT home security, and what they have to offer, may save you plenty later.

IF you want to Compare Home Alarm Systems ADT home security is a little different from their competitors because they have specialized packages that can be customized to you and your family’s protective needs. Their process starts by allowing the customer to speak to a representative who can help decide which in home security system is the best. There are different additions that can be added to these systems, such as fire, carbon monoxide, and medical alert monitoring. However, these additions are an additional charge, and they can only be purchased in conjunction with an alarm system. Therefore, do not skip the step of talking to a representative in order to decide what elements are necessary to keeping a secure home environment.

Some people feel like a Burglar Alarm System is pointless, but in a survey conducted by the National Burglar and Fire Protection Agency in 2000, nine out of ten burglars said that they would have been less likely to break into a home if they knew it had a security system. With that being said, ADT security provides a convenient, wireless system that can be installed with minimum inconvenience, or damage to your home. Therefore, if you are a renter and you want to install a system, you can disconnect it and take it with you to your next residence for little to no cost. The Burglar Alarm Systems are also affordable, costing $32.99 per month, and there is no charge for relocation after you have been a customer for two years or more.

As a paying customer, you want to know that a product is going to work. You want to have a reason to differentiate one company from the next. ADT home security gives their customers an extra assurance that is not widely offered elsewhere. There is a burglary protection guarantee that promises to pay up to $500 on a home’s insurance deductible if there is ever a burglary. There is also a 20% discount on your home owner’s insurance when you sign up with ADT home security along with a money back guarantee within 6 months if you are not satisfied or you feel like you have changed your mind. Also, if you decide that you would like to move, you don’t have to leave your system and start again. You may take your security system to your next residence, and if you have been with ADT for two or more years, you will have a $100 discount on your installation. However, if you decide to move before two years, it will cost you the installation fee and possibly a new contract. Make sure to check and negotiate for all the best deals before you invest in your alarm system.

People are consistently complaining about not being able to talk to an actual person when they call customer service lines, or try to pay a bill. ADT’s in-home security system also offers the comfort of a live person. The specialized feature is called the 2 Way Voice, and it lets a real person respond when an alarm goes off. The 2 Way Voice feature also has a time limit, therefore, if you have this type of alarm at your place of business and you do not respond to the call in time, the police will be called unnecessarily. The catch to this feature is that it requires a landline, and with many people using their cell phones now for a primary source of communication, this could present a problem. If you don’t have a landline, you may want to do some further research and investigation into ADT home security in order to make sure their other features are worth your while. Choose Burglar Alarm Systems that are tailored to your needs by assessing what your needs are ahead of time.

When you try to determine which Burglar Alarm System is good for your family, you have to consider all of your choices and at the top of this list is ADT home security.

Most good-sized towns now have at least one spy shop. Where these gadget-heavy stores used to be hidden in an old building downtown where nobody ever went, they’re now in heavily-trafficked strip malls and shopping centers. If you haven’t taken a trip to the spy store lately, or ever, now might be a good time to drop in for a little entertainment.

What will you find in a spy shop? Hidden cameras of all kinds, for starters, from micro cams like button and screw cams, to realistic cameras that look like DVD players, clocks and plants. If you’re thinking of hiding a camera anywhere to catch anyone doing anything, your spy shop can set you up.

Spy gadgets include more than just hidden cameras, though. You’ll find all types of listening devices that let you hear and record conversations covertly and keep an “ear” on what’s going on. You may find these devices handy to keep track of your kids or determine if your spouse is cheating on you. Your spy shop staff can help you choose the right device.

Another handy item you’ll find at your local or online spy shop is a GPS tracker. These are great devices for keeping up with your teenagers ; you can tell exactly where they’ve been in the car. They’re also great for finding your car if it’s stolen, of course. And now GPS trackers come small enough to put in a cell phone, so you always know where your kids are.

Your spy shop is full of devices you can put to good use, and also items you can have fun with and just play around with. Whether you’re putting a motion detector camera in your home to protect against intruders, setting up a hidden camera in the bathroom to show your spouse how silly she looks in the morning, or using GPS tracking to protect your kids, your spy shop has the right gear for your needs.

It’s easy to get confused about what direction to head in when doing your own security camera systems reviews but the point to remember, being excessive with security cameras is only going to hurt your bottom line.

What do we mean by being excessive? Simply over-capitalizing with your system is unnecessary and cameras should really be posted where they are needed. And basically, around a home, they are needed in those areas where intruders can enter someone’s home without being noticed. Unless they are extremely brazen, their first choice entry point will usually be an area which is hard to see from the neighbor’s home or in a dark spot hidden away from everyone.

A quick walk around your property can identify possible hidden areas and then you can plan your system around this. You should avoid looking at brands ahead of placement when doing your initial security camera reviews.

Reviews Of Security Camera Systems

You have some choices as to which security camera systems you may want to install. Depending on your budget and your needs, your security camera system can be as basic as a single camera pointed at your front door or it can be as complex as a series of cameras that all go to a bank of monitors or some sort of recording device.

There are many establishments that sell security camera systems. Spy shops are one of these. These spy shops specialize in security camera systems and some of them are quite ingenious.

James Bond?

If you visit a spy shop, you’ll see that they can put security camera systems throughout your home or business without anyone knowing they’re there. They can put a camera in a smoke detector, a clock, a pack of cigarettes, or anything else really. These types of systems are great if you want to catch a perpetrator off guard. However, if deterrence is your goal, you may want to go with a traditional camera that others can see.

Deterring Intruders

Security camera systems that are designed to keep perpetrators away make themselves very obvious. These are the types you see in gas stations and banks. They’re right there where anyone can see them, so that evil doers know that someone will be watching in case they decide to do something criminal.

Some reviews of security camera systems involve dummy or fake cameras, which are nothing more than an object made to look like a camera. They don’t record but they do a good job of making someone think that they do. They’re the cheapest bet when it comes to security camera systems but they won’t offer any evidence if anything bad does happen.

Most of you technophiles will be thrilled to see the title of this article because you’ve been looking for a way to justify buying those new spy gadgets. Now you can say, “But I really need it. I saw this article…”

Okay, you may not actually have a life-or-death need for most spy gadgets, but there are several gadgets that can be really useful, and that you will enjoy having and using, if you love technology.

One of the coolest new spy gadgets is the GPS tracker. These have been used for a while to locate stolen cars, but they’re great if you have a teenager. You can put one on the car and know where your teen has been. Newer models are now small enough to fit just about anywhere, so you can always know where your teen is.

And of course there’s always the spy camera, whether used as a nanny cam, a kid cam to make sure your children really are doing homework and not goofing off, or a spouse cam if you suspect your significant other is cheating on you. Hidden cameras remain among the coolest spy gadgets, because they can literally be put almost anywhere and look very convincing. Cameras can look like DVD players, books, plants, clocks, even room deodorizers. If you’re looking to record someone covertly, you can find a hidden camera that will do the trick.

Listening devices are also popular spy gadgets, allowing you to listen in covertly on conversations and record evidence if need be.

There are almost no limits on the kinds of spy gadget you can find at your local spy shop or online, and you can no doubt come up with some very good uses for these technological wonders. Whether you’re hoping to detect wrongdoing or protect your family, you really do need these spy gadgets.

You’re walking through a parking lot towards your car. You have your keys in hand ready to unlock your car door, then out of nowhere a crazy guy grabs your hand bag. Then you grab your keys and take a swing at him .

He is stunned in pain , but he is unstoppable . Now he is just mad and coming after you . Now he is gonna hurt you . But you already have your pepper spray ready because it’s attached to your keys. You Blast him in the face and he hits the ground . He is now on the ground wheezing and gagging trying to catch his breath. Your attacker is now on the ground, rubbing his eyes in pain, and trying to catch his breath.

What can be said about pepper spray that hasn’t already been said ? Well, for those of you who haven’t heard it yet, I’ll say this. Pepper Spray is a great self defense weapon .

What is pepper spray ?

The main ingredient in pepper spray is Oleoresin Capsicum, The chemical heat of pepper spray is measured on a scale known as the Scoville heat unit scale, or SHU.

A pharmacist named Wilbur Scoville first developed it around 1912 and the Scoville scale is the accepted standard for measuring how hot a chili pepper is. Measuring the heat of peppers is much more sophisticated now than it was when it was originated but it is still called Scolville Heat Units to honor its inventor.
For an example of how potent pepper spray is , think about it this way. A Sweet Bell Pepper has a heat rating of 0 shu. A Jalapeno Pepper has a heat rating of between 3000 and 8000 shu. Tabasco Sauce and Cayenne Pepper have a heat rating of between 30,000 and 60,000 shu. A Habanero Pepper (which is one of the hottest peppers on earth) has a heat rating of Between 100,000 and 350,000 shu

Most Defensive sprays have a rating of between 1,500,000 and 5,000,000 shu.

Think about the last time you ate something spicy .

You take a small bite, start chewing, and in about 2 seconds your lips and tongue start to get hot. Then you start to sweat and your eyes tear up . Drinking water only makes it worse, so you eat some bread or crackers trying to cut down the burning. You realize you’re just gonna have to wait for it to go away. After a few minutes it’s finally gone and your happy it’s over .

Now imagine that pain except in your nose and mouth and all over your face and multiplied but several hundred times worse . That might give you some idea of what it feels like to be shot in the face with pepper spray.

Pepper spray is really only effective when your target is sprayed in the area of their face.

The average effects of pepper spray are, A burning sensation to the affected areas causing some pain These effects usually last about 20 to 30 minutes depending on the strength of the pepper spray and how much of the spray actually hits your target in the face.

There are many different types of pepper spray . Some as big as fire extinguishers for riot control and all the way down to small keychain types . I’ve seen pepper spray disguised as pens, pagers, lipstick, jogging weights, and even a ring that fits on your finger.

The main thing to remember is that like any personal self-defense weapon, pepper spray needs to be readily available for use or it won’t do you any good. A pepper spray that’s hiding in the bottom of your purse won’t prevent an assault any more than a key that’s left in your office will unlock your car door.

We live in a very violent society where everybody is at risk. Assaults can occur in many places at many times . If we are not to be left feeling like powerless victims, what can we do to protect ourselves from all the crazy criminals ? Well, killing an innocent person is not accepted in society . There are other ways to defend yourself besides killing someone , these are self defense weapons.

There are many self-defense products available that you can use to protect yourself without putting the life of your attacker in danger. Next you will find a list of a few different self defense products .

Stun guns and Batons:

One increasingly popular self defense product is the stun gun . Stun guns are extremely useful when the aggressors are already too close for you to run or get away. A Stun Gun uses a high voltage, low amperage electrical shock to bring an attacker to his knees . The metal prongs on the end of the devices deliver an intense shock when touched to an assailant . The high voltage low amperage of the gun gives you plenty of stopping power but will not permanently harm the attacker . You can choose stun guns with varying sizes and voltages. Stun guns can be disguised as soda cans, mobile phones, credit cards, cigars, flashlights and other objects you usually carry around. You can also use an extendable stub baton to but some distance between you and your attacker . You will have enough time to leave the area or even call the police while your attacker is paralyzed by muscle spasms.

Before getting a stun gun it is import to know if they are legal where you live .

Pepper Sprays

Hands down the most popular self defense product is good old fashion pepper spray . It is very inexpensive to buy and packs enough punch to take out most attackers . It is most commonly purchased in a pressurized bottle/tube form that starts as small as keychain pepper spray. Also like the stun gun it can be camouflaged in usual objects that you carry around on a daily basis, lipstick being an example. You never have to worry about where to buy pepper spray because there are so many great online stores to buy it from. Before you purchase pepper spray make sure you are educated on how to use it correctly for maximum impact . Some conditions minimize its effects, for example if used on a windy day or if it is miss-aimed. There may not be official training available to you so you can use the internet to read up on it . Police often use mace pepper spray with other back-up resources.

Tasers

The new Advanced Taser M-18 series has almost 100% effectiveness rating. It is said to combine injury reducing benefits of the traditional stun gun with a quantum leap in stopping power via new Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) technology. Believe it or not but the new tasers have faster incapacitation then a 9mm hand gun . The Advanced Taser shoots out 2 darts attached to 15 feet of wire and 50,000 volts travels over the wires to over-ride the central nervous system. This provides substantial power to immobilize the attacker.

There many other types of self defense products . The trick is to find the one that works best for you.

There are so many things to think about when you are pregnant and trying to prepare for your first child, but gathering home security information should not be at the bottom of your list, since you really need a Home Security Alarm System.

Baby showers, blankets, strollers, highchairs, and cribs can consume your daily thoughts but it is important to remember the place where your child is going to be most of the time, in the home. People differ when it comes to child home safety, but there are general measures that everyone should take, to try and prevent possible tragedy in a residence.

Some people think that home security information in regards to childproofing a home is meaningless, and it will teach your child to be more careless than if they just learned the concept of no. A Protect America Home Security Alarm System can make your home safer. Many people understand that you cannot childproof every environment that your child is in, and you cannot ask everyone you know to childproof their own homes because of your kid.

Other people feel like their youngsters should feel comfortable enough in their own homes to be able to explore it freely. They think that if their baby were at another person’s home, they would be more likely to keep a closer eye over them. However, there is a compromise between childproofing as an obsession, and leaving your children to fend for themselves. Home security information is a responsibility when you’re a parent.

There are many things that you can do to childproof your home. Believe me, if you can think of it, someone out there has invented it. Adding a Monitored Home Security Alarm System should be at the top of your list. However, the basics of home security information are pretty simplistic.

First, you should know that when a child sees an electrical outlet they will be drawn to it like a magnet, so you should cover all of the electrical outlets with the plastic covers that cost nothing for a pack of 100. Home safety is important when canvassing your electronics. Make sure all of your equipment with their accompanying cords are out of reach. If you have stairs or any other place in the house that you don’t want your child to play in, only around, invest in a safety gate.

Make sure that all of the emergency numbers, like the fire and police department, are easy to find. Many times there will be a magnet with all important phone numbers delivered with your phonebook. Lastly, you should check and make sure that you buy age appropriate toys. A lot of toy manufacturers make toys with a great deal of parts that can be a choking hazard for small children, so be sure to check the label.

Another thing that concerns your child, your home, and the safety of everyone in your home is to childproof your pets the best that you can for security purposes. Learn about home security information for pets. Before you bring your infant home, you should play with your dog’s ears, tail, and body while they eat. Many dogs can get protective over their food, and they have to learn to get used to hands in and around their food.

Make sure that you buy your dog or cat a bed and give it a designated spot in the house. When your child can understand, let them know that the spot is the dog’s peaceful place and they should not be bothered when they are in their place. Eventually, your pet will seek refuge in their personal place when they are tired, annoyed, or want to be left alone.

Lastly, you should bring your baby’s blanket home and give it to your dog after the first day in the hospital. Your dog will have a chance to get used to your baby’s smell, and he or she will not feel like an intruder has entered your home once you bring the new addition home from the hospital. Prepare your pet, so that you can make your home safe for you child initially, and you can relax later.

Kids are just like adults in smaller packages, so it would be illogical to think that you can receive all of the home security information that is out there concerning children, their habits and personalities. There can be one child that is scared of heights, so you will never find them mounting up a set of stairs, while there could be another child that would attempt to jump from the top. You can never tell what kind of personality your child is going to have until you meet them and get to know them a little better.

However, when you follow the basic childproofing techniques, you will find that your house will become a lower stress environment because all of the possible security measures have been taken. It is always better to be two steps ahead as opposed to being two steps behind.

When you saw the words “spy equipment,” you probably pictured James Bond with all the cool technical stuff from Q, right? But have you been in a spy shop recently, or looked at spy equipment online? The gadgets keep getting cooler, smaller, and more usable by everyday people.

For instance, when you think of spy equipment you probably think of cameras. Maybe you’re thinking of the little Minox cameras from the old movies, where the spy would click the two halves of the camera together to take pictures. Still pictures. Now you can get hidden video cameras that no one would suspect were cameras.

Whether you buy a camera disguised as a plant, a DVD player, an air freshener or a clock, you can buy great spy equipment, very affordably, to use around your home or office. Wouldn’t you like to know how the babysitter treats your kids, what your employees are doing when you’re not there, or whether your kids are really watching a movie with their dates?

Spy equipment doesn’t just mean hidden cameras, though. You can get listening devices that let you hear and record conversations covertly, which can be not only fun for a gag, but also useful in proving wrongdoing at home or work.

And one of the newest breakthroughs in spy equipment is GPS tracking. You probably have heard of this; they can even be used to locate stolen cars. You can now put GPS tracking on your car or in your teenager’s cell phone to make sure they’re really where they’re supposed to be, and help keep them safe.

Spy equipment is no longer just for British agents in tuxedos. Of course, if you happen to be British and have a tuxedo, you’re free to wear it, but anyone can now use “spy technology” to protect their homes, families and businesses.

If you are like many other folks in the United States and around the globe, then you have had occasion to think about putting a Home Security Systems into your house to protect your family and property.. Increasingly, the trend is toward video surveillance systems which are now more affordable than ever. But when it comes down to the decision point, some people get stopped dead into their tracks by the multitude of choices available..

FREE Home Security Alarm System Quote
from Protect America

Not very long ago, most homeowners never even thought about including video surveillance into their overall home security plans. But today things are different. The good news is that the cost of all security equipment has dropped a bit in recent years. As it has become more available, it has become more popular and vital for these security functions..

And, that also means that in today’s hi-tech world, even an average, ordinary family is able to install a good home safety security system without breaking their budget.. It has not been much more than about a dozen years ago that the only place you would see this kind of sophistication in remote video surveillance cameras, was in big business establishments or government facilities.

One of the most popular features of a home security system that integrates video surveillance is to include the option to have the video feeds sent to the internet. This means that busy parents who are concerned about how things are going back home, can log into a password protected website and view the live feeds from the various cameras in their network.

Not only is this helpful for moms and dads who put in long hours at the office, but this IP video surveillance arrangement is also perfect for the person who travels a great deal and is concerned about their home security while away. Some of the home security systems also monitor things like temperature and moisture levels. For homeowners who have leaky water pipes or tropical aquariums that must maintain certain temperatures, this can provide a tremendous amount of peace of mind when they are away.

Many home security systems provide monitoring as well that keep tabs on all the various indicators of home safety. This includes alarms that go off, and notify the monitoring center in case of intrusion, fire, a panic button being pressed, temperature drops and changes in moisture levels. The monitoring center can then dispatch the appropriate help for the situation.

However, it should be noted that the monitoring centers do not have access to the video surveillance part of the home security system. This is only available to the homeowner and is accessible only through a secure network. A security company does not eavesdrop on home activities.

Home safety security measures will likely continue to be an increasing trend with families in all stages of life. While the world seems to be getting much smaller because of the lightning speed of communication in many ways it is also much more dangerous than ever. Having a reliable home security surveillance system or Home Security Alarm Systems in place will provide protection for the premises and people within the walls, and your peace of mind.

The video camera will get the criminal entering your home. Cameras usually work in junction with a more extensive security alarm system that alerts police or sounds an alarm when a criminal has entered the house.

Video cameras can be helpful by capturing unauthorized people at your home while you are gone for the day or on vacation for a week. You will beable to have piece of mind while away

Have you ever wished you had a wireless hidden camera to catch someone doing something on tape? Most of us have. You might have thought of catching your roommate using your shampoo or your kids jumping on their beds. Perhaps you want to put your hidden camera to more high-minded use and watch your babysitter or keep an eye on your teenage daughter and her boyfriend while they’re watching movies.

Chances are, you’ve thought of using a camera both for little, trivial things and for more serious purposes like protecting your kids. Who hasn’t wanted to set up a motion detector in the front yard and catch the neighbor’s dog doing his business in their shrubs? Or put up a hidden camera next to the exit and catch coworkers leaving early while we stay on and finish our work?

The cool thing about these is how much you can do with them. You can get a wireless hidden camera that looks like a DVD player and stick it in the kids’ room to find out if they’re really going to bed, or staying up playing on the computer. Want to spy on the company fridge and see who’s taking your lunch? Set up a plant looking spy cam that won’t be noticed.

For more serious purposes, you can set one up that looks like a mantel clock or an air freshener and keep an eye on the babysitter or your teenagers. Or put an EXIT sign spy cam at the back door of your building to catch your employees leaving early.

Technology has reached the point where, no matter what you want to do with your wireless hidden camera, you can find one for your needs - from disguised cameras for the home and workplace to button cameras, pen cams and other body-worn spy cameras. If you can think of a use, you can find one to fill the need.

There seems to be a misconception that cameras for home security may be a waste of time because they don’t have the ability to stop a crime from happening. That’s true in a physical sense but yes, they can stop crimes from happening and do so every day.

The power of home security cameras lies in the fact they are effective as a deterrent. When people know they are there then there persona seems to change. When you know you’re being watched how do you behave. From an intruder’s point-of-view, it may seem foolhardy to break into a home with security camera coverage when there are those homes without them.

Can you see the deterrent for intruders here? Many home owners actually like to make it known they have security camera coverage simply because intending intruders will look for easier pickings. So yes, home security cameras can definitely play a major part in crime prevention.

Home Security Cameras

There are many different types of home security cameras but one choice you have to make is which type to buy regarding how it records. Motion sensor home security cameras only begin recording when they sense movement.

This is great for a security camera because it will only catch the footage if someone breaks into your home. If you have pets, however, this could become a problem because the home security cameras can’t differentiate between the family dog and a would be burglar.

The home security cameras that record all the time are also great cameras. These record constantly, meaning they will catch anything and everything that goes on within its range of vision. The problem with these types of security cameras is that, if something does happen, you’re going to have to rewind through all that tape in order to find the part that includes the break in. However, a constant recording home security camera can make you feel safer because there’s no question as to whether it caught anything or not.

If you do fall victim to a home invasion, you can then take the footage that you gleaned from your home security camera and you can take it right to the police. It might be a good idea, for extra security, to have several home security cameras placed throughout your home. You should have one facing each entry way and maybe one in the living room, or anywhere else where you keep lots of valuables like TVs and other electronics.

You can’t be everywhere at once but it’s nice to know that a security camera is constantly keeping an eye on things while you’re gone.

Wireless cameras have become increasingly prevalent in today’s society, and are used for a variety of purposes. This article serves to give you a basic overview of the different types of wireless camera available, and how they are used.

Security Wireless Camera

An outdoor wireless security camera can be used in a home security system, indoors and outdoors. Wireless cameras come in all shapes and sizes. Some types are waterproof and can be hidden away in outdoor plants or other nooks and crannies. There are also wireless video cameras with night vision.

One advantage of using a wireless camera for outdoor security is that one does not need to do extensive preparatory setups or wiring. If you decide you would like to have your camera in a different location, you simply move it over.

A wireless security camera is also good for temporary purposes - for example, if you want to have it in a certain location for a specific event or time period, it is easy to do so and then move it later.

Wireless Spy Camera

A spy cam is just what the name says - a hidden wireless camera used to spy on people. Modern forms and uses of spy cams seem to be becoming more and more creative. They can be incorporated into pens, can be as small as a USB flash key, disguised in glasses, or simply so tiny that it is easy to conceal them within clothing. Some spy cameras also come with tiny microphones and listening/recording devices. You can even get a backpack with a hidden camera in it (perhaps this is useful in case you want to keep close watch on whoever is hiking behind you.)

A Nanny Cam

Surveillance cameras can be used by parents to keep an eye on their children’s babysitters (to make sure they don’t abuse the children, or raid the fridge too often), or they can be used by nannies to keep an eye on the children themselves. They can also be used to watch over pets from afar or from another room. These wireless cameras can get innovative too - one recent example I saw is disguised in an air-freshener. In some cases, these wireless cameras come with portable hand-held monitors so that you can always have an eye on your child as you move through the house.

Some types of wireless nanny cameras (or surveillance cameras) display the image on a cell phone (if compatible), PDA, Internet web browser, or a standard video display. Some are even equipped with heat sensors and will alert you by email if someone enters a room.

These cameras also have remote control functions so that you can change their position and pan to get a new view, from wherever you are.

————————

There are a lot of different ways to protect your home and keepthe ones you love safe . Obviously it would be pretty difficult to protect your home with an onion but bare with me I’llclear this up for you.

When it comes to making sure you have a safe home it is not enough to have a few extra locks on the door or a fearsome guard dog . When most peopletry to protect their home they tend to think they will be okay if they just slap in a burglar alarm . In some cases that would be fine but in most it is not sufficient.

What if some crazy criminal guy decides to do a “smash and grab”? They can go all through your house pretty fast . In that small time frame your house can be trashed and your valuables taken. Worst yet if you live in an area that has more crime the police are likely occupied already . That only increases the time it would take them to respond to a Burglar Alarm at your home.

This is exactly why you want to think like a criminal when setting up your home security . The goal is to make your home both unappealing for anyone that may target you or downright frustrating for anyone that would attempt to break in.

This best way to do this is using a layering technique commonly known as the “onion technique”. The idea is to have each part of your home security defend the next part of it, building layers of security . It is very straight forward and obvious but you would be amazed by the amount of people that would never think to do it.

This is part one of a 2 part post. Keep your eyes open for our next post, with actual examples of how to implement this technique.

When we think of Self Defense Weapons these days usually one thing comes to mind… That’s pepper spray. But when we think of pepper spray, we are thinking of the most modern use of this substance . It has been in existence for a long time . No, maybe not in the same convenient form that we know of today but the basis was still there same.

To understand how pepper stay has been around so long you must first understand the makeup of pepper spray . A lot of people believe that pepper spray is some crazy chemical compoundmade of all sorts of crazy stuff and the only reason the word pepper is used is so it sounds nicer. This is by no means the case . The makeup is very simple it is an extract of oleoresin capsicum from the chili pepper. For the most part is all nature but it can be purified to make it very intense .

Now that we know where pepper spray actually comes from we can understand how it has been used for so long. All the way back to the ancient days in China. It was not uncommon for hot pepper s to beground down and used as a means of self defense . The extreme burning and blinding of oleoresin capsicum made it an ideal solution for close range fighting . In fact it can even be traced to some early ninjas. It was very apparent from early on that this was a very effective defense tool.

In the 1960’s pepper spray starting moving in the direction that all know today. During that era there was a lot of research and development that went into designing developing different nerve agents such as tear gas. As a result of all this research there were several different types of crowd control agents developed including pepper spray.

In the 1980’s it was marketed under the name Halt Animal Repellentand was found very useful by postal workers to defend themselves from dogs. Pepper spray was soon picked up by hunters and forestry agents as a keep themselves safe from wild animals. Still at this time it was not widely use by the public.

It wasn’t until the 1990s that pepper spray really started to take hold. The FBI promoted it as an effective crowd control method and soon thousands of police forces adopted it. Once it was standard issue forthe majority of law officers it moved its way to the general product. By then it had been made much more convenient to own pepper spray due to the small sizes of the containers. You also didn’t have to worry about where to buy mace pepper spray because many stored took it on. It made it a very easy self defense option for anybody out there .

Even today pepper spray still stands as the number on self defense product on the market. It comes in many different shapes and sizes starting small with a key chain pepper spray, then moving up to mid size bottles for your purse or pocket and finally you have the extra large sizes for your home or business.

Pepper spray is an extremely effective way to keep yourself safe. It packs a huge punch and will take down almost any attacker. I defiantly recommend it to everybody.

Hello everyone, this is the second part of the onion home security technique.
Most of the time anyone can do this with very little money.

A great example of this would be placing a rose bushes in front of your windows. Then, on the windows hold them firmly in place with a window stop . Then, on the inside of the window you can have a wireless motion detector or window alarm.

If someone tries to get through the window they may change their mind when they realized they have to climb threw a very sharp plant. If they still want to try and get in, it is going to be a little on the tricky side for them to get through the rose bush. If that [/spin]crazy crook |sneaky criminal[/spin] gets threw the rose bush they will be stunned to find they are not able to budge the window because of the window jam . For the average thief they would probably give up on that entrance or even your home. If this criminal is a savvy he might be able to get by the window stop. If that happens, that’s where to motion detector comes into play to give them a nice loud surprise when they get inside.

The whole goal of doing this is to make it hard for someone to break into your home because they run into one problem after another. A lot of burglars want to break in quickly and unnoticed. If someone is outside your house climbing threw a bush the chances are someone will probably notice. By having different layers it will increase the time someone spends trying to get in and will greatly increase their chances of being notices by someone.

I’ll go ahead and give you another example

The back door is another hot spot for burglars . This is normally done because[/spin] of low visibility from the road | there is usually tree cover and people on the main road cannot see the back door[/spin]. With this cover a burglar can simply break the window on the back door and let themselves in.

Most people have[/spin]the standard deadbolt | a regular dead bolt [/spin] on the back door which can simply be opened once the window is broken. To avoid this, use a double-key deadbolt. These require a key to open from the inside as well as the outside. This makes it impossible to unlock the door once the window is broken. If the bad guy gets around the lock you want them to run into the next layer. In this case you would use either a floor lock or a wireless door alarm to stop them in their tracks. From there you can use a motion detector to add another layer to the system.

Chances are most criminals will just give up if they have several unsuccessful attempts to break in.

As you can see it is much more effective to take the time to have different layers to your home security rather than just having one and hoping it works. The examples I have here are simple ones and there are many many more out there that you can use. If you use your imagination the sky is the limit for making your home as safe as possible.

Crime is present in ever last community in the United States and it doesn’t discriminate by age, race, or gender.

This does not imply that everyone needs to turn tail and run . It means everyone should think ahead and take a few simple steps to ensure your own personal safety . This doesn’t require anything drastic like taking martial arts classes or an expensive security system. It can be as easy as carrying a pepper spray keychain or making sure you lock your doors.

The fact is, most people don’t protect themselves due tolack of knowledge . The reason for this stems from a preexisting mindset that most believe. This comes back to the majority of people thinking it involves wasting hours of your life taking self defense classes or getting yourself a very costly security system. Well the world needs to know this could not be further from the truth. In fact most things you can do are very simple and require little effort.

Let’s start with keeping yourself safe. This is easiest out of the majority of types of safety. Honestly, there is very large amount of different products and techniques for keeping yourself safe. Some of the most common are to use self defense weapons. These include items such as pepper spray and stun guns. These are the ones that are most commonly referred to.

Let’s start with Best Pepper Spray. This is the most effective and least problematic out of most self defense products. Pepper spray comes in many shapes and sizesthat all carry a powerful punch. The main ingredient is Oleoresins Capsicum which is more commonly referred to as red pepper. A quick burst of the spray will take out almost any attacker . The best part is this incredible stopping power can be used at a range of up to 10 feet. There is no question why pepper sprayis one of the most popular self defense products out there . All that power on top of being super easy to find. You might ask where can i buy pepper spray . That’s easy just Google pepper spray and you will find tons of choices.

Another heavy weight contender is a stun gun. These bad boys mean business and any criminal caught on the wrong end of one of these will not last long. Most stun guns deliver a low amperage high voltage shock that completely disorientates the nervous system. The units can range from 20k volts all the way up to 1 million volts. They are inexpensive to buy and come in many shapes and sizes.

Most people believe they are extremely dangerous and pose a risk to anyone they are used on. This is just a myth. They are not 100% safe , but hey neither is your dinner fork. Most police officers carry stun guns and most law enforcement agencies require all officers that carry them to experience them. That goes along with the large number of criminals they are used on . The reported injuries by stuns guns is very low, making them a safe means of protecting yourself.

These are just too of the manyto protect yourself . In the coming weeks we will reveal other ways to keep your family, your home, and yourself safe. Remember the world is not always as safe as we wish but everyone can keep the cards in their favor.

Planning home security camera systems is so important in the initial stage that it cannot be understated. Many owners leap into a decision to install security cameras without giving consideration to exactly what they need in regards to overall coverage.

There is no point in buying a system with several cameras when you really only need to cover a couple of specific areas of your property. Over capitalization can be a real issue.

Today, first home buyers are faced with more options today than they were a decade ago with computer wireless coverage now coming into play. In some cases, you could get away with wireless computer coverage inside your home but if you think you are in an at risk area, then the more traditional home security camera systems should be considered.

In this report, let’s look at some of the planning you need to do before making the decision to buy a security system.

Home Camera Security Systems Planning

Here’s the problem with inexperienced home owners who have never even looked at security camera systems before. Too many times, they’ll rush out and make a hasty decision without really checking to see whether they actually need what they’ve bought.

In other words, they can run the risk of over-capitalizing which can cost them big bucks. Here’s what you need to do when looking at your first system for your home.

Grab a sheet of paper and take a tour around your property. Map out a scale of your property making it as accurate as possible and then walk it again and assume you’re an intruder. Make sure you cover every square inch of your property inside and out. It can be easy to ignore those areas you rarely frequent but these may be the prime intrusion spots for someone on a mission to rob you of valuable possessions.

What you’re doing is determining where you could enter your property with the less chance of being detected. Make sense. You are trying to identify any blind spots which could aid someone entering and being undetected.

Now in many cases, you’ll find just one or two but these are the areas which will be prime candidates for a security camera. Don’t forget to also highlight those areas just outside your home and inside.

Once you feel you’ve got an accurate analysis it’s time to talk to a professional and discuss your plans. Don’t worry yet about budget because the beauty of many home security camera systems is they can be an ongoing project and added to over time.
